"That's My wife!"

The depravity of a possessive and abusive partner is depicted in these charcoal and chalk drawings on red paper. As a portrait artist, Kate Hopkins has focussed on facial movement and expression  throughout the delivery of the line "That's my wife". The sequence was inspired by a line from Mary Shelly's Frankenstein.
